Adoption Center Wish List
Caring for homeless animals and finding them new homes is very rewarding work. But the costs of maintaining a facility that meets the needs of these animals are enormous.

Paws Toward Home!
Got room in your heart for one of our homeless pets, but can’t adopt them into your home at this time?
Consider donating to our Paws Toward Home fund!
Your tax deductible donation will help in so many ways:
- in partnership w/ Paws New England, offset transportation & quarantine expenses, for dogs being rescued from high volume shelters and bringing them to the APCSM to find their forever homes
- sponsor adoption events – like the “Not so Spring Chicken” and “Lucky Draw” – encouraging adopters to look at some of our older or long time residents
- defray the costs of our long term residents until they find their forever homes
Life is Precious!
The Life is Precious Fund was created for animals surrendered to the adoption center with medical issues to have a second chance for a healthy, happy life. The funds donated allow the Animal Protection Center to provide necessary veterinary care for these animals.
Howard Needs Your Help!
On April 15th, a 10 year old male Shih Tzu named Oscar was surrendered to the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern MA. Oscar’s owner had been ill for quite some time, and unfortunately was not able to give him the care he needed. When staff first met Oscar, it became obvious that he did not have use of his rear legs. But along with his physical challenges, it was also very clear that Oscar possessed an undeniable charm and amazing spirit.
Thanks to the wonderful care Oscar received at Lloyd Animal Medical Center and @Animotion Animal Rehabilitation Center in Stoughton, we have been able to improve Oscar’s quality of life tremendously. He was fitted for a cart to help his mobility, but even better is the improvement therapy has made in Oscar’s ability to use his hind end. Continued rehab and therapy may even result in Oscar no longer needing a cart to get around! The Animal Protection Center relies on contributions to our Life is Precious fund to be able to provide this care. Please contribute if you can!
We need your help to continue to be able to support animals like the ones you see here, plus the hundreds of others like them.
