Paint Your Pet!

Sunday January 31 - Come and paint your own pet and raise money for this outstanding organization! No experience necessary! Our instructors will lead you through the painting from beginning to end.

Doors open at 2:30 and the class starts promptly at 3:00pm.  Our guests over 21 are welcome to bring their own wine or beer. Pre-packaged snacks, soda and water will be available for purchase.

After you register, email a photo of your pet to at least 1 week in advance.

Our artists will sketch the pets on the 16X20 canvas prior to the class.

When you arrive, you will have a sketch of your loved one and our instructors will help you capture it on canvas.

  • Only one pet, per person, per canvas.
  • Please make sure the photo is close up, bright, clear and high resolution to ensure the artists is able to sketch it properly.
  • Bring a hard copy of the photo you originally e-mailed to the class to work from.
  • Please don't rely on a photo from your cell phone.

You receive all the supplies to create your masterpiece: paints, apron, brushes and a 16X20 canvas with your pet sketched onto it.

We are sure you will enjoy our large comfortable studio space including high ceilings, great music customized to your liking, and high padded stools.

See you there!

Agility for Fun

Next session begins April 9th, 2015

The APCSM encourages agility for nearly any breed of dog over a year old. You will be amazed at how the bond between you and your dog will improve, gaining tremendous confidence in your relationship. Agility provides fun and exercise and once you and your dog are taught the basic skills and as you both become familiar with the activities, your dog will instinctively want to perform.

You and your dog will be placed in a class that is most suitable for your experience level and your ability to control your dog as evaluated and determined by the trainer. Most often classes are comprised of 6 to 8 dogs.

The Beginner class is an introduction to the basics. This is where the dogs and handlers learn the terminology and experience movements through the obstacles. Placement into the beginner class and all other levels is at the discretion of the training staff.

  • Minimum of 1 year old (breeds with max adult weight of 20lbs may begin at 11 mos.)
  • Have their basic required shots
  • Obedience trained and socialized with dogs and people outside of their own home
  • Controllable in off-leash activities

The cost is $90 for the 6 week session; 100% of the proceeds go to the shelter.

If you are interested in participating or if you have any questions please contact Tony Bilotta by e-mail for more info or visit the APCSM shelter at 1300 West Elm Street Extension, Brockton. Click here for application and waiver.
