Musings from the Smalls Room By Curry (a rather cute guinea pig!)
Let me say it has taken many days, let’s be honest a full week, but I can safely speak for all the small’s.
We have finally recovered after Dogtoberfest!
What an event!
I heard we raised quite a sum of money, which will go a long way in helping all the animals at the shelter. Also heard a rumor that the King of the event may have found his furever home, so good luck to him. During the event we were able to listen to all the music, smell all the yummy food and hear lots of general chatter right outside our window. Now we just have to put our little furry heads together and come up with a small’s event, Furry Fiesta, has a certain ring to it don’t you think?
A couple of piggies found new homes this week, Grayson, Razzle and Dazzle, we wish you all well with your furever families. Howard, the rabbit we discussed in last week’s musings, now has a bio on the available animal’s page. And let me tell you, he is a reformed character now he is in a better house. There is barely a drop of poop to be found outside his litter box, and he is always up for a bit of a cuddle. I am just sure there is a perfect family out there for him.
We have animals of all ages here at the shelter, newborn piggies and kittens, several piggies who are under 6 months and then some of us more mature pigs. But don’t let our age fool you we still have plenty of get up and go, and would love to find a home that we are able to make our own with space for us to explore.
If you are interested in any animals at the shelter please call one of our wonderful staff members who are always available to answer any questions you have. You can also fill out our application, to make adoptions move along more quickly. Lastly if you have some spare time, I know our room is always looking for some more cleaners/cuddlers!!
